‘elearning
was excellent for me to learn at my own
pace. It helped to expand and strengthen my knowledge of
equestrian things and has given me confidence in areas I
lacked. For example I know more about poisonous plants and
am able to recognize these now when considering the safety of a
paddock for my horse. Recently at a show I was able to
identify ragwort in a tie up area that was specified for me and
as a result asked for another spot.” Chole
“The
Gateway placement in a ‘real’
work place with credits available gives the programme
status and the training is to an industry standard. It
means Michael has his career pathway confirmed and has credits
towards NCEA as well as the level 2 Equine Certificate.”

“I found
the programme very easy to use. It was clear and easy to
work around the site. It gave a lot of good information and
the unit standards were easy to use and follow. The course
was flexible as I could finish a short unit any time. It
meant I could work on some units at home and still be sure of what
to do as all the resources were there to use.”Daniel
